Samsung Galaxy Note II

Despite the recent $1 billion financial scratch inflicted by rival Apple, Samsung has unveiled one of the most powerful smartphones in the world to date, the Galaxy Note II, the phone-and-tablet-in-a-single-package device.

Running on Android 4.1 “Jelly Bean” mobile operating software, the Galaxy Note II is 9.4mm in thickness. It has a 5.5-inch touch screen, an HD Super AMOLED display at 1,280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Its quad-core Exynos processor clocked at 1.6GHz and a 3,100mAh fast-charging battery makes it a pretty powerful device.

Behind its 16:9 screen ratio, users are able to experience cinema-like HD movie viewing. It possesses a 1.9 megapixel front-facing camera and an 8 megapixel rear-facing camera capable of 1080p video recording.

The Galaxy Note II can connect to an 4G LTE network. Aside from it, potential buyers can make choices among the 16 Gb, 32 Gb, and 64 Gb models. Each model has an expandable micro-SD mem slot.

The new S Pen (stylus pen) has a rubber nib. It's also thicker and longer than previous stylus pens.

The Samsung Galaxy Note II will hit tech stores in major European, Asian, and Middle East countries this October.
