UP Manila, PGH join Million People March to Luneta campaign

Students, professors, and employees from UP Manila and PGH joined the Million People March that gathered angry members of the public in Luneta Park, in response to the rampant corruption scandals (especially the PDAF Napoles scam) that tarnished the "Tuwid na Daan" campaign of the Aquino administration.

An estimated 60,000 anti-pork protesters (coming from various groups) filled the area to call for the abolition of the pork barrel and for a deep and thorough investigation of those who were involved in the 10B peso scam.

Several hours earlier, members of the hacktivist group Anonymous Philippines sent a warning to the government by hacking and vandalizing its websites and posting a message of deep dismay towards the alleged mishandling and abuse of public funds (PDAF, priority development assistance fund) by members of the Congress and the Senate.
