Justin Bieber Photo Scandal, A Publicity Stunt?

Here's an article on Mykiru.PH I read about Justin Bieber's laptop being allegedly stolen the contents of which containing some sensitive, private photos of Justin Bieber.

Definitely, it caught the attention of Bieber fans, but whether it's true or not, read through the said post.

Justin Bieber's laptop and camera were stolen last Tuesday and now an alleged "Justin Bieber naked photo scandal" has been leaked online.

According to Justin Bieber himself on Twitter, his laptop and cam were stolen Tuesday night while he was having a show with fellow Canadian, "Call Me Maybe" singer Carly Rae Jepsen at the Tacoma Dome in Washington, USA.

"s-cks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy," posted Justin Bieber on Twitter. "yesterday during the show me and my tour manager josh had some stuff stolen really sucks. People should respect other's property."

Justin Bieber added that he had lots of personal footage (probably videos with girlfriend Selena Gomez?). "I had lot of personal footage on that computer and camera and this is what bothers me the most. #lame #norespect"

And now, this is probably what Justin Bieber is worrying about after his laptop was stolen.

A scandal photo allegedly of Justin Bieber is spreading online, which shows a fully naked guy with a bird tattoo on his hip holding his birdie in front of the camera.

As we all know, Bieber also has a bird tattoo on his left hip and the guy is also as skinny as the singer, but the face isn't shown in the photo.

If that's really Bieber, then probably it was taken before he had a crown tattoo on his right collarbone last August (just like the one in the photo above).

A blurred copy of the photo was posted on Ace Showbiz, but was later removed. Unblurred copies of it however have already circulated on the web upon checking via Google Images.

In a recent report by TMZ, Justin Bieber reportedly has denied that he's the guy in the photo. (Thanks that it's not him, 'coz I don't like the birdie's appearance.)

Meanwhile, a certain "gexwy" has opened an account on Twitter to allege that he has videos of Justin Bieber from the stolen laptop. He even posted there links to a Youtube account "gexwy yo" containing videos of the singer.

"good job with the password protected @justinbieber weak."

"@justinbieber notice us and answer your dms or we are going to put the other videos from the camera out!

"@justinbieber i got your stupid dms. I dont think so. Gonna show the world. TOMORROW."

"TOMORROW, u've been warned. Should of listened @justinbieber."

A bit worried Justin Bieber responded to the tweets: "@gexwy no matter what you have and what you put tomorrow i know my fans wont leave me. screw it. #toostrong."

That's right Bieber! (Maybe, the fans will adore you more with your naked pics.)

@gexwy replied to Bieber's tweet and said that he/she will leak a video at noon tomorrow (early morning MLA time). "@justinbieber that is what u think. We will see tomorrow at NOON. Last chance and the rest of u can just shutup. U have no idea what i have and when u see tomorrow u will feel tomorrow."

The said Twitter account already has over 50,000 followers, who probably are waiting for his/her next tweet and see if he/she indeed has Justin Bieber scandal videos on-hand.

LATEST UPDATE: As promised, @gexwy posted on Twitter a link to a video about Justin Bieber, and it's a newly-uploaded music video of "Beauty and a Beat" feat. Bieber and Nicki Minaj. Watch!

Now I get it. It was all a publicity stunt. That exchange of tweets between @justinbieber and @gexwy was staged and planned.

So Justin Bieber's stolen laptop and naked photo are nothing but a publicity to create buzz for his new music video? Nice one.

PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) social network accounts hacked

The social network accounts of the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) were hacked Monday, October 8, 2012. Both Pep.Philippines (Facebook) and @scoopbox (Twitter) were infiltrated.

In its main page, PEP through its editor-in-chief Jo-Ann Maglipon released a statement regarding the incident.

This is Jo-Ann Maglipon, editor-in-chief of PEP.ph.
Today, October 8, 2012, PEP's accounts on facebook (PEP.Philippines) and Twitter (@scoopbox) were hacked.
Netizens calling themselves protectors of cyberspace, and supposedly enraged by the Cybercrime Law, are holding PEP hostage until, they say, their condition is met. This condition is that "important informations [sic] posted here must be retweeted/shared or in anyway [sic] possible that it can reach more people." They add: "This account will be given back (if the owner wants it back) if a [sic] condition is met."
All right. Some people just don't know how to fight a war. You want to fight the bullies that created RA 10175, yet you bully an online portal? You want to rally society behind you, yet you violate the very tools in cyberspace that deliver the message? You want respect as legitimate dissenters, yet you disrespect us who work ploddingly to make our dissent known?
I'm really doubting if these hackers are in fact against the crazed Cybercrime Law. Sounds to me like they're dark agents of those pushing this law in its original or revised-each of which is crazed!-version.
PEP has a series of stories already lined up exposing that law and its fallacies. YES!, PEP's print affiliate, of which I am also editor-in-chief , is racing against deadline to include a biting commentary against that law, including sidebars of its completed interviews with lawyers, judges, journalists, militant individuals, and international human rights groups that have, wisely, spoken up against the deep dangers of the Cybercrime Law. Both PEP and YES! will be posting graphics-PEP on its homepage; YES! on the cover of its November issue-loudly announcing "NO TO CYBERCRIME LAW!"
I have taken a stand on this. The Web and print staff have taken a stand on this. We will fight this law. We did not fight Marcos to wrest back our small liberties, only to have them swept away by ill-informed and myopic legislators, backed by a President who pains the country as he has never had before. The President forgets those years when his own father was bullied, unsuccessfully, into giving up his right to expression and speech by the man in Malacañang.
That said, I wish to have nothing in common with these hackers. Nothing. They're no different from those legislators; they simply used another pulpit.
NOTICE: PEP is officially dissociating itself from @scoopbox on Twitter and PEP.Philippines on Facebook. Here are the new accounts of PEP.ph: @PEPalerts on Twitter and PEPalerts on Facebook.
As of posting time, its new Facebook page PEPalerts has 125 likes, while its Twitter account @PEPalerts has 299 followers.

46 nurses in Taguig hospital fired for liking Facebook post

Up to 46 nurses in Taguig-Pateros District Hospital were reportedly dismissed for liking a post on Facebook.

One of the nurses removed from duty said that prior to the incident, she liked a Facebook post made by one volunteer doctor about the incapacity of the hospital to provide for the medical needs of Taguig residents.

The nurses were allegedly not given their certificate of employment by the hospital. Apart from this, no dialogue took place among the concerned parties.

Meanwhile, the city government of Taguig stood up with conviction saying that blatant disobedience of hospital authority and protocols, and creation of intrigues maligning hospital and personnel causing internal discontent led to their termination. It was legal since the nurses' contract ended last year

With report from ABS-CBN News (DZMM).
