UP Diliman USC Election 2012 Results and Updates

Alyansa ng mga Mag-aaral para sa Panlipunang Katwiran at Kaunlaran (ALYANSA) dominates the USC polls winning a total of 13 out of 34 seats in the University Student Council. This includes the positions of chair, six councilors and six college representative to the USC.

Meanwhile, political parties Student Alliance for the Advancement of Democratic Rights in UP (STAND-UP) and Nagkakaisang Iskolar para sa Pamantasan at Sambayanan (KAISA) each grab 10 seats in the council: three councilors and seven college representatives to the USC for STAND-UP, and vice chairperson, three councilors and six college representatives to the USC for KAISA.

KAISA's Alex Castro will be the next USC vice chairperson, cornering 3,988 votes and beating ALYANSA's Ace Ligsay (3068 votes) and STAND-UP's Aya Escandor (2,928 votes).

ALYANSA's Revee Rapallo takes the lead in the USC Councilors List with 4,031 votes, followed by Pat Bringas and Mijo Solis who also hail from the same party.
