Star Magic talent AJ Perez, or Antonello Joseph Sarte Perez in real life, was pronounced dead at 12:20 a.m. According to reports, he died due to "multiple head injuries," which he sustained after his car got hit by a bus and a truck in Paniqui, Tarlac.
He just finished a show in Dagupan, Pangasinan, for the annual Bangus Festival. He was sleeping on the side of the van where the truck rammed them, causing his death even before they reached a clinic. AJ Perez was able to tweet an hour before his death saying that he was on his way to Manila from Dagupan. This was what AJ tweeted: “On the way home already from Dagupan.Long drive ahead.. ”
It is believed that the Sabel actor was with his dad, a security personnel, and a driver, at the time the accident took place.
