A magnitude 5.6 quake hit Bukidnon Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said, after quakes shook Eastern Samar and Sultan Kudarat few days ago.
The tremor was located 15 kilometers northwest of Maramag, Bukdinon. It was felt at around 3:44 a.m, with its epicenter at a depth of 3 kilometers,.
It was also felt in areas nearb, Intensity IV in Valencia City (Bukidnon) and Arakan, North Cotabato,
Intensity III in Malaybalay City (Bukidnon), Cagayan De Oro City, Misamis Oriental and Kidapawan City, and Intensity II in Butuan City and Cotabato City.
There were no reports of damages or casualties as of posting time. Meanwhile, Friday’s 7.6- magnitude Samar quake had at least 447 aftershocks to date.
