A total of 1,196 applicants passed the entrance examination of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) held last August 26, 2012. Of these applicants, 66 percent or 792 are men while 34% or 404 are women.
The total number of qualified examinees who took the Cadet Qualifying test this year is 14,829, of which 14,540 were able to complete the examination - a 240 percent increase compared to previous PMA figures.
