Meanwhile, PAGASA as of 9:01 AM issued a "red warning" (rainfall signal) now placed a "yellow" rainfall warning over Metro Manila, expecting heavy to intense rains moderate to heavy rains in the next 2-3 hours, as Typhoon Karen traverses the eastern seaboard of the Philippines.
