Transformers: Dark of the Moon recycled scenes from The Island

Synopsis:
The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and to learn its secrets.

Some say the animation's really new and state-of-the-art; others say, the story's a crap. Michael Bay's 3rd Transformers movie, entitled Transformers: Dark of the Moon, has already earned a gross of $162.125 million.

The effects may have caused a bigger interest from young movie-goers, but whosoever director have not had the idea of recycling old movie scenes to incorporate in a new, breath-taking film.

Yes, Michael Bay did that. He recycled some of the past scenes of his old movies.

Here's a video from The Island which can also be seen from the new film franchise.

The reuse of the footage was mainly due to an unfinished scene, brought about by an accident which left an extra paralyzed. Talking about laziness, it is not, since he was only making the best with what he had. Impressive.
