The Filipino community in Spain celebrated with the decision of the Philippine Embassy in Madrid to implement a 10% reduction on fees for all its consular services.
The lower consular fees took effect last October 1. The old fee for passport issuance is 60 euros; now it is lowered to 54 euros. The fee for multiple entry visa which before was 120 euros is now 81 euros.
The fees for other services such as the following were also reduced: dual citizenship, solemnization of marriage, translations and legalization of documents and report of birth.
