A controversial statement by Miss Germany Sarah Lorraine has backfired with netizens on Twitter bringing her pageant title up the trends after she revealed in an interview that "none of us voted for Miss Philippines, I am so sorry to say that," when she was asked why they rushed to Miss Colombia's aid after her crown was taken from her rather than congratulated Miss Philippines during the coronation night of the Miss Universe 2015.
She furthered, "I really couldn't believe it. I was so upset. For me (she was robbed) as the real winner. I was very happy for Miss Colombia because she really deserved it. But I'm really not happy with the result and so are the other girls. I'm sorry to say it."
