The 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup, which will run from November 24 to December 22, 2012, will be a tournament of eight (8) Southeast Asian football teams, among which is the Philippine Azkals. The other contending teams are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and Laos, the last two teams of which were qualified for the final round.
For the Group Stages (Pre-final Round), Group A will see a game among teams of Vietnam, Myanmar, Thailand, and Philippines, whereas Group B will put on a match among teams of Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, and Indonesia.
