The last of the four general steps of business registration
in the Philippines is the compliance to certain government agencies’
business-related regulations. One of these agencies where you have to register
your business with is the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
As stated in Rule 1002 of the Occupational Safety and Health
Standards, every employer should register his/her business to the Regional
Labor Office or authorized representative having jurisdiction thereof to form
part of the databank of all covered establishments.
Proceed to the DOLE-NCR Building along Maligay St. in Malate
Manila or visit the DOLE Regional/Provincial Office nearest you, and just
register your establishment under the Occupational Health and Safety Standards
(OHSS) No. 1020.
No additional details were added to it like registration
fees, so do research about it in the DOLE website.
For more information, contact them thru osec@dole.gov.ph or dolecallcenter@yahoo.com. You may
also dial their hotline number (632) 527-8000.
Once registered under the OHSS No. 1020, your business
registration will no longer need to be renewed in DOLE.
