Once you register your business name appropriately in DTI,
SEC or CDA, suited on whether it is a sole proprietorship, a partnership/corporation,
or a cooperative, you have to get a business permit and license at the
municipality/city where your business will be put up.
The requirements that must be fulfilled (if applicable) in
order to get a business permit and license from the municipality or city are
the following:
- DTI or SEC registration
- SSS Registration
- Certificate / Articles of
Incorporation
- Community Tax Certificate
- Barangay Clearance
- Location Clearance
- Fire Safety / Inspection
Permit
- Electrical Inspection
Certificate
- Certificate of Occupancy
- Building Permit
- Contract of Lease
- Site Picture / Sketch
- Public Liability Insurance
(for cinemas, malls, restaurants)
The city/municipality/town business permit will be valid for
1 year, so yearly renewal should be expected.
