If you solely own the business you plan to put up, you need
to get your business name registration certificate at the DTI provincial office
of the area where you plan to locate your business. You may visit the DTI website
to find out the address of the DTI office nearest you.
For sole proprietorships, in order to get your business name
registration certificate, you must fulfill the following requirements:
- Present a copy of government-issued
ID.
- Accomplish the Business
Name Registration form (BTRCP FORM 16A) with duplicate.
- Pay the registration fee
(depends on the territorial coverage of the business name and documentary
stamp).
- Barangay coverage: P200.00
- Municipal coverage: P500.00
- Regional coverage:
P1,000.00
- National coverage:
P2,000.00
The business name registration certificate, once received,
will be valid for 5 years.
