This article marks my first post of the year. After all the ups and downs of 2013, I felt it's not right and justifiable to just let this blog (Spotlight Philippines) go derelict of posts. So, here I am taking a break after having started burning the midnight oil.
When we talk about medical students, what comes into mind are pressured,
sleepless men and women in their early to mid-20s taking in too heavy
academic overload for four years or so in order to achieve this highly
regarded profession. Hence, this serves as a tribute to all med students
out there. Why date a medical student?
1. Date a medical student because he/she knows how to diagnose. He/she can identify what's going on, why your friendship or whatever relationship is at a rocky start, where it may lead to, and how you should treat it, together.
2. Date a medical student because he/she knows why you're being sexy, seductive, and hyper. He/she knows the way hormones work, or what muscles to flex/extend in the calling for the art. He/she may opt to apply what he/she knows to give you the best that your heart (and lustful soul) desires.
3. Date a medical student because he/she knows (or will learn) how to work with grace, under pressure. Because when you fall for him/her and quarrels arise, he/she will be the first one to calm you down, or to wait until the mud runs dry, before you venture out, talk things over, and arrive at a compromise.

4. Date a medical student because your future looks bright when you catch one. So much feels for this. You're assured your kids won't get very sick 'cause they'll be the one to tend to their/your needs. Finance won't be such a terrifying topic of discussion, at all.
5. Date a medical student because he/she can be the wildest you can get. Too much toxicity in life has to be compensated or released. So when you bump into one during parties, make sure you get to know him/her. It's fun while the booze is there.
