Gerald Anderson, Anne Curtis join National Peace Ambassadors list

The "I am for Peace" campaign, spearheaded by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPAPP) and sponsored by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), is one of the activities of OPAPP in this year's celebration of the peace month, themed "Ako. Ikaw. Tayo. Magkakaiba, Nagkakaisa sa Kapayapaan."



Named as National Peace Ambasssadors are popular Kapamilya and Kapuso artists, big personalities, and advocates who include:

All peace envoys will be joined by no other than President Aquino in speaking "I choose peace. I want peace - I am for peace!" at the Malacanang Palace on Friday, September 14. Other campaigns to be launched by OPAPP include the "I Choose: Peace" youth football program, in partnership with the Philippine Football Federation (IFF), and the "Business Partners for Peace" campaign for companies (like McDo and 7-11) promoting the peace advocacy.
